Light refreshments will be served.
Giving Machine
The Light the World - Texas Giving Machine provides an instant act of service for people interested in helping those in their community and around the world during the holiday season. With a swipe of a card at the red vending machines, items can be purchased ranging in price from $4 to $150 and include staples such as clothing, hygiene items, meals, livestock, farm supplies and more . One hundred percent of all donations go directly to the participating charities.
Sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, these machines help you have a family giving experience during the holidays.
The Giving Machine is in DFW at three stops from Nov. 21 - Jan. 1. It opens in Historic Downtown McKinney from Nov. 21 until Dec. 4, then moves to Arlington’s Christkindl Market at Globe Life Field from Dec. 6 until Dec. 17 and wraps up at Texas’ Christmas Capital - Grapevine from Dec. 19 until Jan. 1.
